Rector's address

Dear students, respected parents, and esteemed colleagues!

Today, the processes taking place across the world are bringing forth numerous factors that directly affect the lives of young people. Alongside the limitless possibilities of technology, information flows, and social networks, unfortunately, harmful vices are also penetrating without restrictions. Among them, the most dangerous — as we all know — is drug addiction and the crimes associated with it.

This vice does not destroy a person in one day; it gradually and imperceptibly distances them from the most essential pillars of life — health, consciousness, goals, and dreams. A young person who falls into drug addiction risks losing themselves first, then their family, and ultimately the peace of the entire society.

Dear students!
Each of you today is being prepared as a strong force for the scientific, technical, and economic development of our country. You are required to show discipline, vigilance, independent thinking, and determination. Student life is the most precious period. Filling this period with knowledge, research, positive experience, and high aspirations is in your own hands.
Remember: an unfair offer, a harmful environment, or temporary curiosity can deprive you of your true potential. Stay loyal to yourself, your chosen profession, and your dreams. Every stage of life shapes your future professionalism.

Dear parents!
Monitoring the emotional state of our children, their after-class activities, friends, and interests is one of the most effective measures to ensure their safety. Sometimes, one piece of advice or even a one-minute conversation can prevent major mistakes.

Honorable teachers!
Your scientific potential, life experience, and educational guidance create a strong foundation in the minds of young people. Maintaining openness, offering direction, and providing moral support in communication with students is our shared responsibility.

Preventing drug addiction is not merely a restriction; it is, above all, a sign of moral strength, collective responsibility, and a conscious lifestyle. Let us work together to strengthen a healthy environment in our university. Let us pay close attention to every student and help them grow into healthy and worthy members of society for the future.
