The future of our independent Republic primarily depends on the training of highly qualified and spiritually developed personnel. In particular, the main task of the Department of Youth Affairs, Spirituality, and Enlightenment at the institute is to convey all the teachings of our President regarding spirituality, enlightenment, and national ideology to the youth.
The Department of Youth Affairs, Spirituality, and Enlightenment operates in accordance with the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decrees, decisions, and orders of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, orders of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education, Science and Innovations, as well as the institute’s internal regulations and the Charter of this Department.
The main goal of the Department is to nurture students in the spirit of loyalty to national and universal values, to broaden their spiritual, aesthetic, and moral worldview, to protect their thinking from various foreign ideologies, and to help them develop into truly devoted, patriotic individuals of independent Uzbekistan.

The main directions of spiritual, educational, and upbringing work include: forming students into true citizens of the independent Republic of Uzbekistan based on national and universal values; preparing students to sincerely fulfill their civic and filial duties towards the Motherland; increasing students’ sense of responsibility in mastering their professions; developing and improving the individual qualities of students as unique personalities; promoting students’ social activity, initiative, respect for study and profession, and sense of social responsibility; developing students’ socio-political and legal consciousness, and expanding their critical and analytical thinking skills; educating students about the consequences of negative traits such as injustice, bribery, and localism; organizing students’ leisure time meaningfully and supporting their scientific and creative activities based on their interests; improving targeted spiritual, moral, and educational work.
The main tasks of the Department of Youth Affairs, Spirituality, and Enlightenment include: widely promoting the reforms being implemented in our country among student youth; establishing moral, aesthetic, political, legal, and artistic education among student youth; organizing conferences, round tables, and meetings dedicated to promoting national customs and values; assisting in raising students’ spiritual and physical development; defining priority directions for spiritual, educational, and upbringing work at the university, developing necessary regulatory documents, and ensuring their implementation; forming ideological immunity in students against religious extremism, terrorism, drug addiction, and organized crime; increasing youth interest in music, painting, literature, theater, and other arts, and assisting in developing their talents; creating conditions for youth physical training and demonstrating their abilities in sports; raising the spiritual level of youth and promoting reading culture among them; systematically organizing assistance for female students in mastering professions; actively participating in improving spiritual and educational work in cooperation with city and district departments of the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment, as well as foundations and public organizations operating in our country.
The first vice-rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work directly organizes, coordinates, and supervises spiritual and educational activities at the university.
