She started her career in 1999 as a teacher and then Deputy Director of the Bukhara College of Oil and Gas Industry in 1999, in 2022-2023. worked as deputy head of the main employment department of the Bukhara region, director of the Ishga Markhamat monocenter in Bukhara, chairman of the executive committee of the Council of the party organization of the Bukhara region of the Ecoparty of Uzbekistan, deputy minister of higher and secondary specialized education. In 2018, she was awarded the Shuhrat medal. S. Siddikova is the author of more than 40 scientific articles in the field of education quality assurance and digitalization. Prior to her appointment, she headed the Department for the Development of the Vocational Education System of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation. From August 17, 2023, by the relevant decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, Siddiqova Sadokat Ghaforovna was appointed as the rector of the Bukhara Institute of Engineering and Technology.
