Information about the department.

The department was founded on September 1, 1980 named “Mechanical Engineering Technology”. In 1981, for the first time 38 engineers-teachers in the field of Mechanical Engineering graduated the department. In 1981-2021, more than 2000 bachelors and masters in the field of Mechanical Engineering successfully completed the training, and are effectively working in various sectors of the economy of Republic and Commonwealth of Independent States.

From 1982 to 1992, candidate of technical sciences, associate professor I.V. Zaplatkin was the head department of “Mechanical Engineering Technology”, in 1994 the department was reorganized under the name “Mechanical Engineering”, the head of which were candidate of technical sciences, associate professor I.I. Safarov in 1994-2005, candidate of technical sciences, associate professor N.A. Dustkarayev in  2005-2010, candidate of technical sciences, associate professor N.F. Urinov in 2010-2011.

In accordance with Decree of the President of Republic of Uzbekistan No PD-1533 dated May 20, 2011 “On measures to strengthen the material and technical base of higher education institutions and radically improve the quality of training highly qualified specialists”, at the time of establishment of Bukhara Engineering-Technical Institute of High Technologies, the department was called “Materials science and technology of new materials” and was headed by candidate of technical sciences, associate professor N.F.Urinov. In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No PD-1954  dated April 15, 2013 “On the establishment of Bukhara Engineering-Technological Institute”, Bukhara Engineering-Technological Institute was established and “Materials science and technology of new materials” department has started to train bachelors based on the department “Technologies and equipment”.

    
 

               
 

       In 2018, the department launched a doctoral program, and currently 6 doctoral students and 1 independent researcher are engaged in research work.

On August 7, 2017, according to the decision of the Academic Council of the Bukhara Engineering-Technological Institute, the department of “Mechanical Engineering Technology” was reorganized and headed by N.F. Urinov. At present, the department trains the specialists in a bachelor degree 5321500-Technology and equipment (mechanical engineering) and 5111000-Professional education (5320200-Mechanical technology, equipment and automation of mechanical engineering), 5320200-Mechanical technology, equipment and automation of mechanical engineering, and master degree 5A321502-Technologies and equipment (by industry).

       In 2018, a memorandum of cooperation and work plan with “Stankin” Moscow State Technological University was approved. According to the memorandum, it is planned to train bachelor, master students and scientific and pedagogical staff.           FINTEGRATION OF SCIENCE AND PRODUCTION

In order to ensure the implementation of Decree of President of Republic of Uzbekistan No. PD-3151 dated July 27, 2017 “On measures to further expand the participation of industries and sectors in improving the quality of training of higher education”, cooperation agreements between the JSC “Bukhara Repair Mechanics Plant”, UE “Pump Repair”, JSC “Pipe Details”, PE “Bukharasoztamirservis”, JSC “Kogon Ginnery”, JSC “Bukhara Ginnery”, Department of Gazli Main Pipelines, Central Administration of the Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine, the Northern Administration of the Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine, JSC “Navoiyazot” and the Department “Mechanical engineering technology” were signed, and experiments and practical training in specialized disciplines are conducted in JSC “Bukhara Repair Mechanics Plant” and UE “Pump Repair”.

In 2020, the production technologies of JSC “Bukhara Repair Mechanics Plant” and their problems were studied. In the course of the study, the issues of plant automation, increasing production capacity, improving product quality, training in cooperation with universities were studied.
 

               
 

               
 

               
 

               
 

               
 


               
Laboratory rooms of the department 

There are six classrooms, three laboratory rooms, and one workshop belonging to the department. TEACHERS WHO WORK AT THE DEPARTMENT AND ARE NOW PASSED AWAY

               

 
 

He was born on May 20, 1949 in Petropavlovsk, Kamchatka, Russia. In 1966 he entered the Far Eastern Polytechnic Institute named after Kuibyshev. After graduation, started working in the design bureau at the same institute. In 1975, was admitted to postgraduate at LPI named after M.I. Kalinin. In 1979 he defended his dissertation for the degree of candidate of technical sciences in “Mechanical engineering technology”. In 1981, he was elected a senior lecturer at department “Mechanical engineering technology” of Bukhara Technological Institute of Food and Light Industry. In 1982 he was appointed the head of department “Mechanical engineering technology”. In 1989 he was awarded the title of associate professor.

Yuliyev Olim Yuliyevich was born on February 22, 1941. In 1960-1965 he studied at the Tashkent Polytechnic Institute. In 1965 he was accepted as engineer-designer in “Automation” department of “Radioelements” plant. In 1968 he was hired as assistant at Bukhara branch of the Tashkent Polytechnic Institute. In 1973 he was elected head of the department “Descriptive geometry and drawing”. In 1979 he was appointed deputy dean of faculty of General Engineering of Bukhara Technological Institute of Food and Light Industry.

 
 

 
 

Muinov A.M. was born on March 1, 1936 in Bukhara. He entered the technical secondary school of Food mechanics in Leningrad and in 1955 graduated with honors. In the same year he entered the Faculty of Physics and metallurgy of Leningrad Polytechnic Institute, which he successfully graduated in 1961 and was sent to work as a chief engineer of Bukhara Industrial Complex. From April 1972 he worked in the full-time as an assistant, senior lecturer, associate professor of department “Mechanical Engineering” of Bukhara Technological Institute of Food and Light Industry.
