The current staff of the department consists of 1 doctor of science, 3 candidates of science, 4 associate professors, 4 senior teachers, 7 assistants, 1 technician.           It is being conducted the research on the basis of "Geometric modeling of events and processes."

    Currently, the Department of Descriptive Geometry and Engineering Graphics in cooperation with the Department of Technology Machinery and Equipment of the same Institute conducts two-month certified short courses of AutoCAD and Compass on the basis of an economic contract. Courses are held regularly.
