The department began its activities in August 2019 under the name of the department "CHEMICAL TECHNOLOGY OF INORGANIC SUBSTANCES" on the basis of the new structure of the institute. In the specialties 60710100-Inorganic substances, silicate materials, 60710300-Technology of printing and packaging processes of pre-university education and 70710101-Chemical technology (inorganic substances, silicate materials), specialists are being trained. . The department has 17 professors-teachers, including 1 doctor of science - professor, 5 candidates of science, associate professor, 2 senior teachers, 2 assistants, 7 trainees, scientific authority 41%.
Over the past two years, the teachers of the department have defended 2 doctoral dissertations, in co-authorship with the authors of 7 electronic textbooks (DSU), 5 international (impact factor) textbooks, 3 textbooks, 6 monographs, 19 published in 6 journals, 20 in the journals of the UAC list and 3 articles in the Scopus database. 3 doctoral students and more than 5 independent researchers are engaged in research work at the department.
